All I know is, those values are referenced somewhere other than just the Sim DNA, and on the off-chance it could potentially corrupt or cause some kinds of play issues with my game, I change it in both places now. It may not be necessary to actually do these steps, but I prefer to err on the side of caution. Change them there as well, but don't bother changing the property set for age 10, as that's elder stage. Skin and hair tone are also referenced in the character file's Property Sets. Change whichever line(s) you need to change. Open the character file and then click on the Age Data resource. Use the More button while on the Sim Description of the sim you want to change. I think there was something about leaving it unchanged in the character file could cause corruption, or sometimes the character could revert to displaying their old DNA? I usually bookmark info like that, but apparently this time I didn't.Īnyway, backup first.
I saw a tip somewhere that any changes to hair, eye and skin tones need to be updated in both Sim DNA and in the character file.
